
I have unique domain experience in maintenance management and condition monitoring, lubricant and fuels analysis and marine classification.
I am a time serviced and HNC qualified mechanical engineer. I hold ISO certified Condition Monitoring qualifications (ISO 18436 Part 4 – PCN Cat III) specialising in condition monitoring, lubricant analysis and the management of machinery assets.

I hold certification to ICML – MLE – Machinery Lubrication Engineer – a qualification that bridges both the management of assets using asset management (ISO 55000 series – PAS 55 etc) and the application of best practice in lubrication and lubricating oil analysis and condition monitoring. (ISO 17359 and ISO 14830).
I represent the UK within BiNDT, BSI and ISO SC5 TC108 for lubricant analysis within condition monitoring.
I also hold qualification in Asset Management – as certified by the UK Institute of Asset Management
I have 20 years experience in industry from apprentice to technician and field lubrication engineer withe a leading independent industrial lubricants manufacturer and a further 15+ years in marine classification with Lloyd’s Register. Firstly as surveyor grade lubricant analyst and latterly as global lead for maintenance management a bridge between technical investigations and classification.
